1/2/08 Thought for the Day

Do you know the difference between a religion and a cult? It's the number of members. The more members a faith-based group can attract, the more acceptable it becomes in the eyes of society. Once a faith-based group is accepted by society it is considered a religion, not a cult. All religions began as cults. This means we shouldn't look down on anyone's beliefs, even if we disagree with them, even if their beliefs are not shared by many, because the cult of today may be the powerhouse mainstream religion of tomorrow.
